In this study, sperm quality and morphology of rainbow trouts fed with 50% crude protein and different lipid levels (14-18-22%) of diets were investigated. The experiment was carried out between Dec 2014 and Feb 2015 in 60 rainbow trout individuals.

After stripping, total weight of semen, amount of sperm and total number of spermatozoa, motility, duration of motility, intensity, pH, color of semen and morphology paramaters were recorded and analyzed using Computer-assisted sperm analysis software examined under the light microscope for each group.

At the end of the study, amount of sperm, duration of motility and total number of spermatozoa were different statistically (p<0,05). Motility, pH, intensity and morphologic parameters were not significantly different between groups.

According to our results, amount of sperm, duration of motility and total number of spermatozoa were better in 22% lipid group than that of the other groups.
