WORLD AQUACULTURE 2025 CHINA will be held in Qingdao, China with involvement from countries throughout the Asian-Pacific region and around the world.

World Aquaculture 2025 will visit China again after the first successful meeting in World Aquaculture 2002 , more than 20 years ago. Aquaculture is rapidly growing in the Asian-Pacific region and increasingly in China, therefore 2025 is the perfect time for the World Aquaculture community to focus on China again at Qingdao City.

Qingdao plays an important role in China’s maritime development with its advanced marine economy, robust marine industry and strong foundation in marine fishery, marine equipment manufacturing, and marine transportation. Ocean University of China, Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences located here. Qingdao Port, the fourth largest port in the world, is emerging as an international shipping hub in Northeast Asia.
