LACQUA25 will be the annual meeting of the WAS Latin American and Caribbean Chapter. Following the successful previous LACQUA meetings, LACQUA25 will be held for the first time in Chile.
LACQUA25 will be held in Puerto Varas, Chile. This country is considered a leader in the aquaculture industry in Latin America.
Puerto Varas is a small town located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue in southern Chile and is the gateway to Chilean Patagonia. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, volcanoes, lakes, forests and national parks, the town enjoys a picturesque location and is a renowned and safe tourist destination.
In Puerto Varas, spring is pleasant and partly cloudy, although some days may be windy and rainy. The ambient temperature varies from 8°C to 20°C, rarely falling below -2°C or rising above 24°C.
