In this study we evaluated the effect of dietary phospholipids on growth performance, biochemical
and immunological parameters in Persian sturgeon Acipenser persicus. Fish with initial body weight of three grams were used for this study. Basal diet was supplemented with commercially easily available source of phospholipid, soy bean lecithin . Different phospholipid levels i n diets were achieved by adding 0 (ontrol), 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10%
soy bean lecithin at the expense of corn oil . The results indicated that fish feed supplemented with 2 and 4 percent lecithin containing 8.8 and 15.7% total phospholipids improves growth, survival , and immune responses significantly compared to control (Tables 1). It was concluded that determination of the optimal level of phospholipids in Persian sturgeon diet is of great importance.
