Job Summary
The Guo lab is seeking a technician to work with a group of scientists focusing on aging and regeneration in two emerging model systems, the freshwater planarian and the leopard gecko. We would like to recruit motivated individuals to fill this position and want to promote science as well as the candidate's career in the biomedical fields. Responsibilities
1. Work with Dr. Guo to setup an automated planarian culturing system.
2. Prepare planarian culture medium in an automated setup.
3. Weekly feeding of animals on the automated system.
4. Daily monitoring of animals on the automated system.
5. Assistance in experiments in molecular biology

Required Qualifications

• Aquatic culture experience required
• Ability to assemble and run automated aquatic systems
• Ability to prepare medium and quality control fresh water medium 
• Ability to work in a team project environment
• Motivation, organization skills, and communication skills
