All Posters will be presented as ePosters

All posters at AQUA2024 will be presented as ePosters. This will follow the system very successfully used by EAS for the last 5 years.

  • You will submit the abstract the same way as has been done in the past and receive more detail in June 2024.
  • ePosters are completely online with no paper poster required or used
  • ePosters are submitted in PDF format ahead of the conference and authors need bring nothing to the conference
  • ePosters are displayed on the website, conference app and display stations located around the conference venue
  • Abstract title and authors are printed in the conference program
  • On the conference app, attendees can view the ePoster, download it and can communicate with the author by email

Abstract Submission - Step 1

AQUA 2024 encourages the submission of high quality oral and poster presentations. We strongly encourage authors to consider poster presentations because poster sessions will be an integral part of the program. Papers submitted for "oral presentation only" may not be accepted as oral presentations due to the limited number of available time slots.
All abstracts must be in English - the official language of the conference.

Each oral presenter shall be entitled to no more than 20 minutes comprised of 15 minutes for a presentation, plus 5 minutes for questions. Authors of studies involving proprietary products or formulations should present this information in workshops or the trade show. Oral presentations should use Power Point. Overhead projectors, slides and video players will not be available or allowed.

All presenters are required to pay their own registration accommodation and travel expenses. AQUA 2024 cannot subsidize registration fees, travel or hotel costs.
No Abstract Book will be printed - a USB will be given to registered attendees.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS

Expanded Abstract Format - Please refer to the example.

  • TITLE OF PAPER:  The abstract title is printed in CAPITAL LETTERS, with the exception of scientific names which should be upper/lower case and italicized (see example). Scientific names should not be preceded or followed by commas or parentheses or other markings.
  • AUTHOR(S):  The first name should be the presenting author. Use * after the presenting author. Type in upper/lower case.
  • ADDRESS AND EMAIL:  Type only the presenting author's institution, address and email. Type in regular upper/lower case.
  • MAXIMUM LENGTH:  One page
  • PAGE SIZE:  Standard A4 paper (210mm x 297mm = 8.27” x 11.69”) (portrait)
  • MARGINS:  i-inch margin throughout(left/right/top/bottom)
  • SPACING:  Single spaced
  • PARAGRAPHS:  Paragraphs should be separated by a blank line and should not be indented.
  • FONTS:  Character fonts should be 12 point type.
  • PHOTOS, FIGURES & TABLES:  Photo, figures and tables are highly recommended and they may be in color. They should be reduced to the appropriate size for a one page abstract and should be clearly readable at the reduced size. The reduced figures and tables should be included in the abstract.

Your abstract must conform to the specification for abstract formatting.

Presenting Author Information

Abstract Submission - Step 2

Please enter the name exactly as it appears in the abstract paper. Please do not type in all capitals. (Example: First Name:Daniel B. / Surname:Ramirez). The presenting author is the person who will be presenting this paper at the conference. (* = required field)

Paper Topic and Title

Please enter your paper title as shown in the example below.

  • The paper title is printed in CAPITAL LETTERS, with the exception of scientific names which should be Italicized Upper/lower case (see example)
  • Scientific names should not be preceded or followed by commas or parentheses or other markings
  • Do not include author names in the title
  • Do not paste the entire paper here
  • The paper title must be the same TITLE that is on your abstract document
  • Please check for spelling errors

Please enter the names exactly as you want them to appear in the program materials. Please do not type in all capitals. Type each coauthor First Name and Last Name exactly as they should appear. The order in which the coauthors are entered is the order that they will appear in the conference program. Please check for accuracy.

The abstract that you upload should be formatted like the SAMPLE shown here and include the abstract title, the author names and the presenting author's contact information. It is preferred that the abstract be in Microsoft Word Rich Text Format (.rtf) for PC. Do not send in MAC, (.pdf), (.dat), Notepad, Word Pad or other formats - it could cause a delay in considering your abstract.
