Commercial R.A.S. aquaculture facility breeding and producing various species of warm water fish along with live food organisms. Our original facility comprises over 20,000 square feet of hatchery and grow-out. We are now completing a 16,000 square feet state-of-the-art hatchery and research center with completion expected this fall. Our 3rd facility is 72,000 square feet and is scheduled for completion in 2025. This is a ground-floor opportunity with advancement in one of the most unique facilities in North America.
Job Details:
Aquaculture Technicians perform a variety of tasks relating to daily operations and maintenance of our aquaculture facility in Newton, NJ, water testing, fish handling, grading, system maintenance, data collection, harvesting, etc.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have aquaculture or tropical fish experience.
- Must be able to swim.
- Highly motivated.
- Reliable transportation.
- Self-starter.
- Able to work some nights, and weekends if necessary.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a warm humid environment.
