Technical & Operations Support Manager

Job Details

We are seeking a Technical & Operations Support Manager to join our Technical Operations department to manage technical standards development and lead operational maintenance of our ASC certification processes.

This role will directly support our global Standards & Science teams to manage technical and operational processes and activities that support our ASC standards development and overall maintenance.

You will proactively engage relevant stakeholders and organisations, provide technical assistance to the team on different workstreams, coordinate external and internal projects and technical working groups and participate in various relevant forums.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, have good understanding of certification standards (applied via third parties) and established networks within the aquaculture sector.

We are looking for someone with a ‘hands-on’ and innovative approach who is able to translate technical information and train others, develop recommendations for future standards and lead various workstreams and projects to success.

Requirements

  • Do you have experience in working within an aquaculture farm setting with good understanding of what it takes to implement a certification like ASC’s?
  • Want to take scientific and standards development to the next level and engage various stakeholders (Conformity Assessment Bodies) and provide training, reports, workshops, surveys etc. for all?
  • Are you passionate about driving improvements and increased understanding of sustainable standards across the Aquaculture space?
  • Can you pro-actively tackle issues for consideration within our ASC Issue Log framework and take the lead on technical variations to our certification standards?
  • Want to work for an organisation that is at the forefront of Setting the Standard for Seafood, globally?
