Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager for Barramundi Fish is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the Barramundi fish market in the country. This role requires a deep understanding of the fish industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. The primary objective is to increase market share, revenue, and profitability by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities in the Far East.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends in the key regions. Analyse market data to develop effective strategies for market penetration and growth.

 

·       Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Barramundi fish in the key regions. Identify new business opportunities, evaluate their feasibility, and create strategic plans to capture market share.

 

·       Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including fish farmers, distributors, retailers, and government agencies. Collaborate with partners to develop mutually beneficial business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

·       Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to promote Barramundi fish in the selected regions. Identify target markets, create marketing campaigns, and establish distribution channels to increase product visibility and sales.

 

·       Pricing and Negotiation: Determine pricing strategies with Chief Commercial Officer based on market dynamics, cost analysis, and competitive positioning. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners to ensure profitable business relationships.

 

·       Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to identify and develop new Barramundi fish products that meet the specific needs and preferences of the Far East market. Conduct market testing and gather customer feedback to refine product offerings.

·       Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyse financial performance, including sales revenue, expenses, and profitability. Prepare regular reports and forecasts to track progress against business objectives and identify areas for improvement and present to the Senior Leadership team.

·       Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations, certifications, and quality standards related to Barramundi fish in the Country. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements to maintain the company's reputation and integrity.


 

Requirements


Qualifications and Skills:

·       Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

·       Proven aquaculture and seafood sales experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably with a focus on Barramundi fish or seafood.

·       Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in English. Knowledge of local languages.
