About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to be a part of an exciting and growing organisation. Your tasks included:

• Analysing data, patterns and the relationships of information to probe for the greater understanding of a problem, making judgements to produce workable solutions.
• Applying specialist and detailed technical expertise.
• Providing others with a clear sense of direction, inspiring commitment to business goals and building financial acumen and knowledge across the organisation.
• Leading and delivering Huon's financial forecasting and budgeting to meet business performance targets.
• Running, improving & owning complicated financial models that provide an integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash forecast.
• Working closely with key partners within Huon to provide recommendations, opportunities and initiatives to business areas for improvements with a focus on reducing fixed costs and driving efficiencies.

Requirements

About you

• You have tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Economics, or similar and/or related and relevant work experience.
• You are comfortable undertaking tasks both in the detail and at a high-level overview, providing both business partnerships at a cost centre level as well as strategic recommendations to that Executive and Corporate teams.
• Your strengths include business acumen and analysis alongside your excellent written and verbal communication.
• You have strong stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to influence across varying levels of the organisation.
• You have demonstrated your ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty and remain calm in a changing environment.
