Job Details

Responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on duties including field investigations, post-mortem analysis, disease diagnosis and management
  • Proactive fish health monitoring and certification
  • Focus on data interpretation in various formats (ability to use Python will be advantageous)
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, allowing for access to information and the ability to influence results in KPI delivery

Requirements

This is a unique chance to kickstart your Aquaculture career. Under the guidance of a senior Veterinarian and with mentorship from two seasoned aquatic vets, you'll have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our fish health, welfare, and biosecurity management across our hatchery and marine farm sites. As a Field Veterinarian, you'll work closely with our farming teams, aiding our business in achieving our revenue and profit objectives. We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in animal production and molecular engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science.
