Objective
rom an early interest in aquatic life, I was inspired to pursue a master’s degree in aquaculture to deepen my understanding of this field. My focus has since honed on feeding strategies, the role of specific feed ingredients, and enhancing both the productivity and economic viability of aquaculture systems. Currently, I am completing my Master’s in Aquaculture at Kentucky State University under the guidance of Dr. Waldemar Rossi Jr., concentrating on aquatic nutrition. My research specifically investigates lysine's dietary requirement and its role in supporting the growth of various fish and shrimp species. I anticipate graduating in December 2024.
Looking forward, I am seeking a Ph.D. research assistantship to expand my expertise in fish production, with a specialization in aquatic nutrition and fish health. My goal is to contribute to sustainable aquaculture practices by advancing knowledge in nutrient optimization and health management in aquatic species.
