Job Details

• LeadtechnicalteamsorprojectsasPrincipalInvestigatorto develop technical strategies for project execution, oversee efficient and proper execution of project activities and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs.
• Continuously keep current with aquaculture trends and development to driveinnovationintechnicalaspectsasasubjectmatterexpertinhis/herfieldof expertise.
• Mentor junior colleagues to help build team technical competency and teamwork for smooth execution and completion of project within the project timeframe.
• Handle project administration and procurement tasks while ensuring fiscal prudence for efficient budget management and utilization
• Perform work activities to support Aquaculture Innovation Centre’s work functions, role and responsibilities.
• Comply and uphold laboratory, facility and farm biosecurity requirements and housekeeping needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant aquaculture experience in pilot-scale or commercial settings with a track record of securing R&D grants or publishing scientific research.
• Candidates with experience in aquaculture business development would be preferred.
• Efficient in using statistical tools and AI software for data management, report writing and presentation.
• Clear-minded with ability to prioritize work activities to keep track and update project progress to RO or lead PI timely.
• Alert and responsive to identify and improve work processes for better work efficiency and output.
