RAS Engineering Manager

Gulf Aquaculture is seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant Manager to support engineering and maintenance operations at the Sheikh Khalifa Marine Research Centre (SKMRC), Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The role focuses on overseeing RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems), facility infrastructure, mechanical/electrical systems, and ensuring continuous operational efficiency of a state-of-the-art marine fish hatchery. The ideal candidate will lead maintenance teams, manage engineering projects, ensure HSE compliance, and contribute to strategic operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with RAS / marine hatchery systems
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, water quality management, and facility infrastructure
• Leadership and team management capabilities
• Solid understanding of financial management and business strategy
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and ability to work under pressure
• HSE/Safety Compliance knowledge
