Zoetis Canada is seeking a self-motivated and experienced technical and sales colleague for the position of Aquaculture Territory Manager. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service for eastern Canada aquaculture customers while achieving sales targets and demonstrating Zoetis/PHARMAQ core beliefs and behaviors.
This position is located in Atlantic Canada.
Responsibilities
- Support and optimize the use of Zoetis/PHARMAQ products—primarily in Atlantic Canada, but also in other Canadian regions—including biologics, diagnostics, and delivery systems (vaccination).
- Work with aquaculture customers to create demand for the Zoetis/PHARMAQ portfolio and provide solutions that meet customer needs.
- Consistently model Zoetis/PHARMAQ values and core competencies.
- Monitor vaccination protocols, including technical set-up and anesthesia procedures, and post vaccination performance.
- Create and implement business plans based on customer knowledge, account potential, and market trends.
- Meet established budget goals and broader corporate objectives.
- Monitor trials and other functions related to new product development.
- Assist with customer and/or service provider contract negotiations.
- Support and promote PHARMAQ Analytiq and Fishteq services and products.
- Collect information and report to the Canadian industry on trends from other production regions.
- Liaise closely with Zoetis/PHARMAQ colleagues and technical departments in other countries.
- Stay engaged in the industry and proactively report on trends and new developments.
- Attend and help arrange trade shows, technical meetings, and customer presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in aquaculture or a related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience within the aquaculture industry.
- Understanding of aquaculture production processes, including fish health, vaccination, biosecurity, and handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong technical skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75% of the time) throughout Atlantic Canada during certain periods.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively share relevant information.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other Zoetis/PHARMAQ colleagues.
- Professionalism and strong ethical standards.
