Your Mission 🎯

 

1. Business Development

  • Identify and prospect aquaculture farms, RAS centers, processors, and other key industry players
  • Detect new opportunities and understand market needs
  • Contribute to the local commercial strategy: segmentation, prioritization, and action planning

 

2. Account Management 📈

  • Manage, retain, and grow an existing client portfolio
  • Ensure regular follow-up: site visits, meetings, calls, and commercial reporting
  • Understand clients’ challenges and propose tailored solutions (technical support provided by internal experts)

 

3. Sales & Negotiation 💬

  • Present and promote aquaculture products and services (equipment, feed, logistics, services, etc.)
  • Prepare offers, quotations, and value propositions
  • Lead negotiations through to contract signing

 

4. Internal Coordination 🤝

  • Collaborate with technical, supply chain, marketing, and scientific teams to build relevant offers
  • Communicate client needs internally and ensure smooth project execution

5. Market Intelligence & Representation 🌍

  • Monitor market trends, innovations, and regulations
  • Represent the company at industry events (Aqua Nor, DanFish, Seawork, etc.)
  • Contribute to enhancing the company’s visibility and reputation within the salmon sector

Requirements

Your Profile 🌟

Commercial Skills

  • Significant experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in industrial, maritime, agro-food, or environmental sectors
  • Excellent skills in prospecting, negotiation, and account management
  • Ability to build long-term trust-based relationships
  • Comfortable presenting high-value solutions, even without full technical expertise

 

Industry Knowledge (non-technical)

  • Interest in aquaculture, agro-industry, or environmental technologies
  • Understanding of the salmon farming business: quality, sustainability, logistics, production
  • Languages: fluent English required; Norwegian or Danish is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Autonomy, organization, and reliability
  • Adaptability to multicultural environments
  • Willingness to travel for client visits across regions
