Senior Grader

Job Details

• Monitor and control the work process of the team.
• Assist team with cross-checking site data against actual items and categorize pearls by size and if there are any discrepancies or issues, coordinate with the Supervisor.
• Verify the data based on the result of the actual and categorized items and inform to Grading Supervisor. 
• Verify the manual grading result data and inform to Grading Supervisor. 
• Assisting the team in selecting of pearls stock requirements as instructed by the supervisor, upon request from the Retail Coordinator. 
• Monitor and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks of the team. 
• Create monthly reports such as training progress and tasks assigned by Supervisor. 
• Resolve grading issues with the knowledge and agreement of the Supervisor. 
• Conduct training for staff as directed. 
• Ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times, and actively promoting a safe working environment for all employees.  

Requirements

• Has healthy eyes, without any conditions such as color blindness, nearsightedness, or astigmatism. 
• Capable to identify and sort pearls based on their type, shape, and color.
• 2-3 years of experience as grader. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skill. 
• Understand English, both written and spoken. 
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skill.
• Strong attention to details. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
