Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate and maintain the health and well-being of animals, performing clinical examinations, diagnoses, treatments, therapeutic and surgical procedures when necessary - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Act in an integrated manner with the areas of Management, Laboratory, Aquaculture, Diving, Night and other technical sectors to ensure the quality and coherence of processes - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Prepare and review SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), health protocols, animal welfare plans and technical documentation - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Monitor metrics, generate technical reports, and support the use of data to improve animal health processes - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Investigate and report clinical occurrences, zoonoses and structural problems that impact animal welfare - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Act in compliance with legal, environmental and biosafety requirements, keeping records updated with regulatory bodies and councils - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Collaborate with the quality sector in the planning and control of inputs and budget for the Animal Health and Quality sector - - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Participate in strategic meetings, technical visits, audits, certifications and institutional research and conservation projects - under the guidance of the veterinarian/ART;
- Represent the company in associations, collaborative networks and technical events when necessary (in the absence of the veterinarian/ART).
Requirements
What You Need to Have (Requirements)
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with active registration with the CRMV;
- Proficiency in analysis and technical documentation tools, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Forms and clinical record platforms;
- Proven experience with handling and clinical aquatic animals will be considered a plus;
- Experience with ZIMS and/or SimplesVet will be considered a plus;
- Experience with Life Support Systems (LSS) will be considered a plus;
- Published scientific articles, experience with Clinical Pathology will be considered a plus;
- Basic Diving Course will be considered a differentiator
- Good interpersonal communication, synthesis skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
- Organization, attention to detail and proactivity are essential to perform the role.

- AquaRio - Rio de Janeiro, RJ
- Availability to travel is required, especially to Foz do Iguaçu/PR.
Working Hours and Shifts
- 5x2 shift, including weekends and holidays depending on the shift or specific demands related to animals
- 7am to 5pm
