Job Details

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Algae Operations Lead located in Erendira (Ensenada), BCN. The Algae Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily cultivation and harvesting of seaweed, managing operation schedules, maintaining production equipment, monitoring quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the research and development team to optimize cultivation techniques and enhance product output.

Requirements

  • Experience in algae cultivation, aquaculture, or a related field
  • Knowledge of nutrient management, water quality, and environmental controls
  • Skills in operational management, including scheduling and process optimization
  • Proficiency in quality control and compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Experience in the agricultural or feed supplement industry is a plus
