(Relocation to Bangkok - Tech Startup)
We’re looking for a hands-on, versatile Second-Level Support & Service Engineer to strengthen our technical team in Bangkok. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty — both in code and with physical devices. You’ll dive deep into technical issues that go beyond standard support, replicate and analyze unknown errors, and test new hardware components in the field or in our lab.
You should be comfortable switching between a terminal window and a toolbox — writing scripts one moment and soldering a sensor cable the next. Your work will directly support the broader team by identifying root causes, improving tools and workflows, and ensuring the reliability of our smart farming systems.

Tasks
- Act as a second-level technical expert, handling escalated support cases via tickets, phone, video calls, or chat
- Investigate and replicate complex issues reported by customers to find root causes and define permanent solutions
- Write scripts (e.g., Python, shell) or small tools to automate support tasks and improve internal efficiency
- Prepare, configure, and test smart farming devices before they’re shipped — including sensors, controllers, and gateways
- Use your hands-on skills to build, repair, and occasionally solder components or wiring when needed
- Support the packaging and logistics of hardware deliveries to customers
- Conduct on-site visits for advanced troubleshooting, system installations, or field trials
- Assist customers and installation partners with sensor setup, wiring, and connectivity issues
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to report bugs, test firmware updates, and suggest improvements
- Keep detailed records of service cases, technical findings, and solutions in our system
Requirements
Requirements
- Educational background or strong hands-on experience in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or similar fields
- Practical skills in working with hardware — including basic soldering, wiring, and tool usage
- Experience with IoT systems, embedded devices, or electronics troubleshooting
- Basic coding/scripting skills in Python, shell, or similar
- Comfort in reading technical documentation
- Strong communication skills — you can explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical users
- Independent, reliable, and proactive working style
- Willingness to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand and travel occasionally to farms across the country
- English proficiency required; Thai language is a plus but not mandatory
