This 2-hour, introductory, in-person workshop will provide an overview of NASA remote sensing data for supporting aquaculture activities in marine and freshwater environments. The workshop will include the fundamentals of remote sensing of water quality, and how to access and visualize remote sensing data for monitoring harmful algal blooms. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to access and visualize satellite imagery and water quality indicators using NASA webtools. No prior knowledge or experience is required to attend the workshop.
