Spotlight presentations will highlight student research by challenging them to present abbreviated versions of their work. Selection of these students was based upon evaluations and scores of their submitted abstracts. This is a great opportunity to see back-to-back student researchers present their work in this competition session. You won’t be disappointed.

High school students from across public and private schools in Hawaii were invited to submit a 2-3 minute video that addresses the theme: “Hawaii Aquaculture: A Tradition of Navigating with Innovation, Technology, and Culture.”
The competition accepted videos of any genre including documentaries, animation, short interview, and historical, among other film genres. The top submission and two runners up will be awarded and the videos presented by the student awardees at the conference.
