Job Details
· Assist the Section Leader (Biochemistry) on research tasks involving molecular or immunological tools such as PCR, ELISA and Western Blot
· To work according to Standard Operation Procedures
· To participate on animal sampling and perform diagnostic tests
· To measure antibody response post vaccination with microplate readert
· The Animal Health Intern will be offered a project. As a mixed facility we have the possibility of offering hands-on experience on conducting research with live animals as well as in a well-equipped laboratory.
Requirements
· Current studying in a Diploma in a related field (Aquaculture, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences)
· Proficient in MS Office
· Ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal format (English)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team structure
